Is a CONTRACT LABOUR-REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE required for an establishment that has 10 regular contract laborers for a year? We also have 60 regular employees in the establishment.
I would request you kindly to go through Section 1(4)(a) of the CLRA Act, 1970. Only if an establishment employs 20 or more contract laborers, then the Act would be applicable to that establishment. In this regard, the number of regular workmen on its roll is irrelevant.
