As per the new policy, the government is required to refund employers for seven weeks of maternity leave given to employees. Does anyone know how and where to claim for this?
Notification to this effect has not been issued yet. Funds lying in Labour welfare cess were to be used for this purpose. The proposal appeared in the newspaper around 15 Nov 18. I have not seen any government notification to this effect still.
