I was on leave for 5 days from Monday to Friday, that is January 14th till January 18th, and resumed office on Monday, January 21st. Our organization has fixed Saturday and Sunday off. My HR says the number of days counted as leaves will be 7. Can anyone please help me understand what kind of leave policy this is? I have 15 years of work experience, and never has an HR told me such a thing about leave. I just want to understand if there is anything new of which I am not aware.
