Facing Unjust Termination and Harassment: What Are My Options for Resolution?

Advice on wrongful or forceful termination and harassment

I am seeking advice regarding the wrongful or forceful termination of my employment and subsequent harassment from my company.

Around two months ago, I was asked by the HR Officer of my Mumbai Manager to submit my resignation. The reason given was that I had mismanaged the store inventory. I provided evidence to prove that the investigation conducted by them was incorrect due to mistakes made by the Audit team. I shared all the evidence with the HR Manager. However, they disregarded my submissions and insisted that I still resign. They did not offer any further clarifications or explanations and instructed me to begin searching for new job opportunities.

I have dedicated 10 years of service to this company and have consistently demonstrated good performance. Despite this, following my resignation, the company is demanding that I pay a compensation amount of Rs. 2,00,000/- in lieu of the notice period. They are withholding my clearance until I settle the specified amount. Despite numerous follow-ups, there have been no positive outcomes.

Please advise on the available options for me in this situation.

Please consult a good labor lawyer and get a letter drafted regarding the issue of inventory, etc., and ask them to provide a clear statement of offenses or failures from your side so that a reply can be given. If your performance has been good, there should be no reason to ask you to leave under a cloud. There may be more factors involved in the company's decision. Are you in a government company or a private company? Proper legal help can only sort out the matter.

I am from a private company. They are not providing any reason, and now they are charging/trying to fine me for a three-month notice period recovery. I have all the proof with me.

Hello madam,

I tried to pressure them to close my clearance, but now they have put a recovery of the Award Bonus of 26k and held all my earning money of PF, etc. Please help me with what to do in this case; I urgently need my earning money ASAP. I have also sent lots of reminder emails, but there has been no positive response. They have sent me an email stating that I must pay the recovery of 28k, and only then will I receive my PF, etc.
