Concerned About Missing Offer Letters and Benefits? How to Seek Help Anonymously

Just a general query, whom can employees contact if they are deprived of their basic rights such as an offer letter, appointment letter, PF, or ESIC? Is there a place where their names would remain anonymous? Many employers unjustly withhold these rights from their employees. Is there a governing body that monitors this issue and can assist such employees without risking their jobs?

The status of the firm of the employer will decide who is the authorized official to govern employee-related issues, especially non-compliance with labor laws. Generally, labor inspectors of the respective state governments (Labor Inspectors, Assistant Labor Commissioner (Central) as applicable) are such officials. However, in respect of EPF & ESIC Acts, there are inspection officers who have jurisdiction over such units with whom the aggrieved employees can file their complaints and obtain acknowledgment. There are also provisions to file complaints 'online' on the respective portals on the websites of the respective departments.

There is no 'governing body' as you mentioned to go into these details.
