There is more to it than a simple transfer orders to be issued to the concerned. Assuming all terms & conditions are same as existing, legally you should get a document duly concurring this arrangement from the concerned personnel.
There are also other issues to be determined like - i) continuity of service ii) carrying forward of accumulated leave(s) and other benefits not utilised so far, bonus iii) assessment & resultant increments & fixation, promotion opportunities, seniority if any and so on.

Can somebody suggest how can we write a transfer letter when an employee gets transfer from one company to its sister company. Please suggest.
