Misuse of sandwich policy - don't pay for holiday and still deduct them as paid leave

soumya553@yahoo.in
My employer doesn't pay for Sunday and holidays and still apply sandwich policy, for the month of November we have 8 holidays( 4 for deewali and 4 sundays ) they first reduced this 30-8 =22 days
and remove the per day salary say x
and i came 2 days late from deewali vacation they again reduce the 6 days (including the six days leave)
from the 22 days-6=16
and given me the salary 16 x
basically, they don't pay for holiday and still deduct them as paid leave if you take any leave
can you suggest me any legal website where I can get legal proof of this calculation
Rahul Chhabra
I assume you are from Mumbai. You can get the legal proof of it in the act that applies to your organization. Please share the nature of business of your employer so that we can help you with the related act.
Regards
Rahul
