What is required to be done if an employee is terminated? This is a manufacturing company of medical instruments and ophthalmic devices in New Delhi.

How many days of notice should be given as per the law?

Is any additional amount to be paid for days beyond the notice period? The employee is asking for months of pay to be given to him - is there any law regarding this?
