26 weeks, can take 13 weeks before and 13 weeks after the pregnancy or total 26 weeks after the delivery; but for the second time maternity the number of weeks is reduced, please check the maternity benefits in ESI website.
Dear Sarvana,
The amendment has increased the ML period from 12 weeks to 26 weeks of which a woman can take a maximum of 8 weeks of Leave before the scheduled delivery.
