Stuck with a Name Mix-Up in PF Records: How Can I Claim My Actual Contributions?

Sandeep639
I have worked in one organization for 6 months. In that organization, my PF contributions are paid against serial number example 298. However, in the PF records, it's showing some other person's name. I have applied for a name change online, but my employer is saying that it's not possible to change the complete name; only spelling mistakes are acceptable.

What should I do now?

If I go through the number as per PF records, which has only two months' contributions and a very small amount. Please suggest how I can claim my actual contributions.

A complete change in name is always refused, but if there is KYC done for any one document at the time of generation of UAN, then it may be considered.

However, no claim can be made if the contribution period is less than 6 months.
