no of employees ( usually 20) x minimum wages as per state rules or actual wages (whichever is greater) x 10 months contribution payable is to be deposited in advance to avoid any unwanted situation due to failure of contribution payment and safguard the interest of employees
the deposit is to be claimed after filing Contribution record and it is fully adjustable against the amount payable
