Considering XLRI's PGCHRM? Seeking Insights on Its Value and Placement Support for HR Pros

I am a Talent Acquisition professional with 8 years of experience. Right now, I'm in between jobs and thought of doing my MBA. Since I don't want to go for a full-time MBA in HR, I've been recommended for the Executive certification (PGCHRM) from XLRI. I was wondering if anyone has done this certification and how much it added value to your profile. Do you get placement assistance from XLRI for the same? And how are companies responding to such certifications?

Also, if anyone knows of any other weekend Executive MBA programs equivalent to the regular MBA with Tier one colleges in Mumbai, please suggest.

P.S. - I am a B.Tech. Grad with 8 years of Talent Acquisition (HR) experience.

PGCHRM: A Demanding Yet Rewarding Experience

PGCHRM is one of the best courses for working HR professionals. I can say so because I had the opportunity to do it; I was a part of PGCHRM 23. However, unlike any other part-time course, this course is too demanding and expensive compared to some similar courses run by IIM. It will consume your weekends, as there are 20 subjects covered in a span of 13 months, and each subject has multiple tests and projects that determine your final grade. Many people quit halfway, and some also fail. This course will not only disrupt your work-life balance but also throw you back into full-time studies. The course mandates 5-day classes at the XLRI campus. Alas, it's a chrysalis! An amazing learning experience that you would only truly understand once you are done with the course.

No, the course doesn't offer any placement! Only full-time programs offer campus placements.
