Am I Eligible for Maternity Leave If ESI Payments Started After Joining? Seeking Advice

Hope you all are doing well. I joined an organization in June 2018 in Vijayawada. However, my management started paying ESI from September 2018. I am currently 6 months pregnant and need to go on maternity leave from December/January. My delivery date is in March 2019. Am I eligible for maternity leave? Kindly advise.

The waiting period in the ESI Act for Maternity Benefit is 9 months, so you are not allowed to claim MB under the ESI Act.
