Where are you employed? Is your union recognized by your company under the Trade Union Act as a single bargaining representative on behalf of all employees who have been elected as such?

Under this act, a nominal amount towards subscription/membership fees can be deducted from the salary of union members, and the recovered money will be paid to the recognized union by your company.
