EPF Withdrawal Confusion: Is TDS Applied to Total Amount or Just Over ₹50,000?

rathna-n-n-rathna-n-n
Is TDS applicable on the whole amount of Employers' share, Employees' Share, and even Pension amount if it reaches ₹50,000/-? Or is it applicable only when the employer and Employees' share is more than ₹50,000/-? Please clarify this doubt.

It is applicable only when the employer and employees' share is more than ₹50,000/-. If you have less than 5 years of service and plan to withdraw your EPF, you can submit Form 15G/Form 15H.

TDS is not on employee/employer's share but on the total amount, including interest (only in case of less than 5 years of contribution/total claim amount exceeds Rs 50,000).

My EPF amount is across 6 lacs till date. Will I be getting a complete amount if I withdraw my EPF, or will tax be deducted? I have already completed 5 years of service in my current job.
