Navigating Retirement Age Changes: How to Amend Standing Orders in Uttar Pradesh?

Recently, the Government of India (GOI) enhanced our retirement age to 60 years from 50 years in our company, and one of our units is located in Allahabad.

Now, we need to amend the standing order. Please explain the complete process for Uttar Pradesh, including the required forms and whom to contact.

The process of amending the Standing Orders is given in the Industrial Employment (Standing Orders) Act, 1946. You may consult the same. Since you are complying with the Government of India Orders, it is apprehended that the Central Rules are applicable, and the respective Regional Labour Commissioner is the Certifying Authority for the same.
