Contract Workers and the 180-Day Rule: Do They Need a Break Before Rehiring?

Is there any rule or section stating that contract workers cannot work in an organization for more than 180 days continuously? Do they need to be given a break after 180 days and then, after 2 months, you can hire them on contract again?

As far as I know, there exists no rule or provision of any law fixing the maximum period of deployment of contract labor in an establishment.
