One cannot fix a universally acceptable rate for fuel expenses incurred by the marketing personnel. It can vary according to the Company, status of the employee, type of the vehicle like car or motor cycle, the segment permitted by the company in the case of cars, the distance to be covered in a tour cycle and the like. In short, it can be called as "mileage" or "kilometerage" and the rate can be fixed per kilometer and the amount may be paid according to the total kilometers traveled for work purpose.
