How Can I Present My Real Work Experience Without Pay Slips for My Next Job?

rames-vengala
Hi, I am working in a mid-sized company for the last 3.5 years. When I joined the company, I showed 4 years of fake experience. Now, I would like to change companies, but I am scared to include the old experience. I had worked in a government organization through a firm where they don't even have an office (it is run by the Managing Director, and employees are deputed to different locations, with salaries paid based on the government contract).

Showcasing Original Experience

I would like to showcase my original and current experience in my resume, but I don't have pay slips as payments were made in cash. Additionally, the old firm didn't have an official website. Could you suggest the best way to approach my next job?

Dear Anonymous,

Firstly, never resort to falsifying information and data as it can severely hamper and damage your career. As you are starting a new job, ensure your resume is accurate and contains only genuine information. Present your experience exactly as you have gained it; where you lack evidence, clearly explain the reasons why it is unavailable. Remember, sincerity and integrity will eventually prove beneficial.

Sincerely,
