Concerned About Leaving Without Notice? Will It Affect My PF Withdrawal?

Hi, I am Robert. My query is, by any chance, is it going to affect my PF part if I do not serve the notice period with my previous company? Are there any chances of holding my PF amount with the previous company as I left without serving my notice period and joined a new company? Will I be able to withdraw the PF amount if I served more than 9 months?

Dear Robert,

Attestation of the employer is not necessary for PF withdrawal if your PF account is linked with UAN. Hence, the employer cannot withhold your PF. They may deduct/adjust the notice pay amount from your dues from the company.

Moreover, when I logged into my previous company's UAN number, I noticed that only my Aadhaar is linked and verified with the UAN number. To add my bank account number and PAN number, it shows a message stating, "KYC for bank is already pending for approval with the established company." What does this mean, and what is the solution for this issue?
