Statutory Requirements for Long Term Work from Home Option

If an employee is working from home on long term are there any specific statutory requirements to be taken note of? Request your guidance please.

Thank you Dhivya for your response. If the employee's home from where he wants to operate do not have a registered office of the organization in that location, is there anything that the organization should look into considering statutory requirements. Please suggest.
