Struggling with PF Withdrawal Due to Employer Issues? Here's How to Navigate It

random-videos
I left my first job without serving the notice period to my previous employer. As a result, they are not responding to my PF withdrawal request. After that company, I joined a new company and left that job after six months. Now, I have joined another new company. The issue is that my UAN for the first two companies is the same, and my current company has created a new UAN for me.

Question about PF Withdrawal

My question is, if my KYC for the last UAN is updated, in which there are two PF accounts, can I withdraw that PF without the employer's signature or by using the UMANG app? Even though my new UAN is linked with the new company. Please help.

Oversmartness is not always a wise option. When an employee has an old valid UAN, they have to provide the same to the new employer to continue contributions. This enables the KYC formalities to be managed with the present employer. However, if the employee has gone their own way, they must now reach out to the old employer(s) for data validation and record updates as the records need to be digitally verified by the employer.

Hi,

Yes, you can withdraw PF amount if your KYC has been updated (Aadhar, PAN, Bank) by your previous employer. However, if it has not been updated online, you can make the withdrawal offline using the new withdrawal (Composite Aadhar) form with Aadhar, PAN, and Bank details (if your name is not mentioned on the cheque). You can attach a statement or passbook.

Hi,

You can withdraw PF without going through your employer, thanks to UAN. Accessing your PF account services, such as withdrawal, checking EPF balance without the help of the employer, and PF loan application, is easy.

However, since multiple UANs have been created for you, please get in touch with your current HR manager to get it resolved.
