Is it constitutionally valid to have an employee bonded to a company irrespective of his interests?
I have joined in a MNC and asked me to sign 3 years bond . There is no training started and about over star after 9 months . I found the work is quite simple and doesn’t require an engineer like me to work on it . So, I don’t see interest in working on it . Can I have a say in court or our constitution valid bonded labour in company’s ? A lawyers opinion would be appreciated .
If it is valid -
How can something be legal and declare my fate as I signed a bond before doing which I didn’t know the project they have and work they willing assign ?

Seen from the perspective of Indian Contract Act 1872, the bond agreement is between parties who are competent to contract and is a legally enforceable agreement. The illegality arises when it is a forced employment as per Article 23 of the Constitution of India and whether the particular agreement amounts to it is to be seen from the entire facts of the matter. It is not that all employment bonds are bad nor are all of them valid.
