How Are You Adapting to the 2019 Holiday List with Weekend Overlaps and Election Days?

Dear all,

Please find attached the Proposed Holiday List for 2019 (with central notification). State government notifications for respective states have not yet been uploaded on state government websites, but this will not significantly affect the holiday list. Please customize it as per your company's requirements. I have tried to cover as many states as possible, including metros and non-metros.

Note:

1. This year, most public holidays fall on weekends.
2. Two extra days have been reserved for central/state elections or natural calamities/floods/Bandh, with the dates to be decided closer to the events.

If you find any typographical errors or mistakes, kindly write to me.

Dear Mr. Tejas,

In Sl. No. 23, you mentioned Kannada Rajyotsava / Andhrapradesh formation day. Instead of this, you should mention Kannada Rajyotsava / Karnataka Formation day. It is Karnataka Formation Day, not for Andhrapradesh. I think there is a typical mistake. Please do correct.

Dear Sir,

Is New Year's Day (1 January 2019) included as a required holiday? It is not on the list in the Excel file.

Thanks!
