Concerned About "Cession Short Service" on My PF: Will It Affect My Withdrawal?

Hi friends, this is Mohammad Saqib. I have worked in an organization for one and a half years. While checking my PF account, I discovered that "Cession short service" has been mentioned as the reason for leaving the company by the employer.

All I want to know is how this reason is going to affect me. Will I be able to withdraw all my PF amount, or will I only be able to withdraw the employee contribution?

Do not panic. For the updating of service records, EPFO treats resignation as cessation due to short service. This will not affect you, and I am certain that you can have a smooth withdrawal as and when required.
