Do we need to take permission from the labor inspector for working on national holidays, such as 2nd October, or is providing double wages enough? Any document in support will be highly appreciated.
No permission is necessary. Only the list of holidays and weekly off days needs to be communicated at the beginning of the year as per the state Shops Act.
