1) at the time of joining the HR will get the two forms filled by the employeee , form 11 for EPF and ESUC declaration form ............and also ask them to provide copy of documents viz aadhar , pan, bank account and ESIC card holding (old , if any)
2) forms are to be retained at employer records only, but on the basis of these forms the employer will generate UAN/Account no of EPF and TIC of ESIC
3) Employees have to activate their UAN with their own mobile, and then they get all details by giving a missed call to 011 229 01 406 or login to member portal, for transfer the merit goes to old EPF account correctness. if all data is correct and KYC compliant, it get auto transfer on linkiing the old UAN to present establishment,
4) EPF account can not be closed unless the employee attains age of 58, ( Exception is death, permanent settle abroad) but there are circumstances when the employee can apply for advance or withdrawal of his own share part or full , case to case the application details differs and the forms also, ,mostly in case of more than 60 days of unemployment the employee is eligible to withdraw his own share by filing form 19 ............ provided the contribution period is not less than 6 months , less than 6 months contribution cases are not entertained
