Sunday working - what is the procedure for giving compensation holiday?

If an employee works on Sunday (i.e., the 7th day), we will normally provide a compensatory holiday within the next 3 days (i.e., on or before the 10th day). If the 9th or 10th day falls on a national holiday, what is the procedure for giving the compensatory holiday?

In such cases, you can choose to give the 8th day or the 11th day.

When an employee works on Sunday (Weekly Off), it is mandatory to allow the employee to avail of an off on another day. Companies, based on policies, allow employees to accumulate such compensatory offs for a period of 3 months and avail them as and when the employee likes. Some firms will have a different practice of insisting employees to avail the compensatory off in the coming work week itself.
