Navigating Insurance: Can We Add a Group Personal Accident Policy Alongside ESIC?

Dear all,

Our company has ESIC facility. Can we also take a Group Personal Accidental (GPA) policy? Is there any requirement for a Workers' Compensation (WC) Policy? Why is it required?

All those for whom ESI is applicable, for all those WC/EC, policy is not required. However, all those who are out of ESI criteria need to be covered under WC, including your MD/CEO (but not the directors).
