Understanding the New PF Documentation Process: How Do We Report New Joinees and Exits Now?

Can anyone help me understand the process for PF documentation now that the submission of hard copies of Form 5, Form 10, and Nomination Form 2 has been stopped? How should the company inform the PF office about new joinees and exit employee details?

Now there is no need to submit any form to the PF office for nomination; everything can be done online. You only have to register and exit employees through the unified portal.

Online Submission and Approval Process for PF Documentation

Forms like 5/10 are not needed at present as online submission and approval, or entry and exit details facility is available at the employer portal. The nomination facility is transferred to employees themselves, and they can do it by themselves using the member portal. In case of any mistakes made by the employer regarding the joining date and exit date, physical forms may be requested by the department. However, this could jeopardize the employer as it may establish a willful intention of wrong data entry. Therefore, one must be careful while making data entries online, as any further change or correction would not be easy for the employer, employee, or HR person.
