I am aware of the fact that when an employee takes a long leave on the weekends, say from friday to monday, then the in-between saturday and sunday is considered as leave. Again it depends from one company to another as per their orders if they consider or not. As far as my company is concerned, we do consider the in-between sat and sun as offs and the leave number is deducted.
But i'm stuck on these circumstances if sat and sun will be considered as leaves or not:
1. What if an employee takes an off on friday (CL) and applies for sick leave on monday morning? (if reason being genuine or not)
2. Sick leaves from friday to monday?
