Can the employer contribute more than the PF wages limit of ₹15,000?

This means, if the basic pay of an employee is ₹45,000, can the employer contribute 12% of the total Basic Pay or only need to pay for the PF wage limit of ₹15,000? The employer is willing to do so.

It is management policy to maintain ceiling or not. If both parties agree to pay over $15,000, they can proceed, but both must contribute equally. However, different norms cannot be applied in a single establishment.
