Relinquishment Deed Without Consideration: Do I Need to Register and Pay Stamp Duty?

Please help. Is there any requirement of registration of a relinquishment deed if the relinquishment is based on without consideration? If yes, what is the stamp duty and how do we calculate it?

If the relinquishment covers immovable property, it needs compulsory registration; otherwise, not. Each state has its own value. Please check out locally.
