Understanding EPF Withdrawal: What Percentage of My Contributions Will I Actually Get?

santhosh msw
Hi, everyone,

Can I know about the withdrawal of EPF from EPFO? I have a doubt; now I'm having 3 years of experience and have paid PF contributions for my entire service period. If I withdraw my contributions, what will I receive?

1. Employee Contribution = 12% + Employer Contribution = 8.33%
2. Employee Contribution = 12% + Employer Contribution = 8.33% + 3.61%
Some of our friends say that we will receive only 70% of the contribution.

Please help me in this regard.

Only account number 1 can be withdrawn. Account number 10 can be withdrawn only when the employee attains 58 years of age without completing 5 years of contribution. If the amount exceeds 50000/-, then it would be subject to TDS.

Hi,

If we consider that you have a minimum of 3 years of experience and your age is below 50, you will receive all the contributions (24%) submitted by your company along with the EPF interest:

- 12% from the Employee
- 8.33% from the Employer as a Pension amount
- 3.67% from the Employer as a PF amount
- Total of 24% plus EPF interest

Please submit your EPF withdrawal form immediately.

Thanks,
smj
