Employee's PF Transfer Stuck as "In-actionable" – How Can We Resolve This?

Sharma HR
Hi,

An employee has submitted a request online to link their old PF member ID with us (new employer). In both companies, the UAN is the same, and from day 1, we have been submitting PF contributions to their old UAN. However, the old PF amount has not yet been transferred to the new employer ID.

The employee has submitted an online request for transfer, but it is showing as "In-actionable," and the employer is unable to approve it. Please suggest how to proceed.

Thank you.

Please ask him to log into the member portal and file a transfer claim. Select approval by the "present employer" and submit. Afterward, get a hard copy signed by him and approve the claim with a DSC. The transfer will take place within two to three weeks.
