Additional wages to be paid to Security guards for the additional hours of work (12 hrs) as per minimum wages?

The Security personnel working in an organisation are made to work for 12hrs to suit our operations instead 8hrs. Now the wages prescribed in the minimum wages gazette is for one month, what would be the additional wages to be paid to these Security guards for the additional hours of work.
Please leave your views and advice on the above.

Work out per hour rates and pay them OT for 4 hours .

Certainly it is not possible to require such employees to work over time to the extent of 4 hours every day under any Labor Law; depending on the type of the industrial establishments, there are daily/quarterly limitations on the no of hours of O.T.
Therefore, it is better to revise the man-power and reschedule the spread over of the working hours of the Security Personnel accordingly without giving room for statutory violations.

Security guards working for 12hrs is not advisable.
The psar act also states that under the scheme of guard boards.
It is therefore appoint 8hrs shift.and arrange for relieving duties against weekly off.This will ensure better quality in performance as well as sustainance of guards.thus reducing attrition.

Ground reality is that Security Guards, are doing 12 hrs shift as it is convenient to the for more than one reason.
8 hrs shift means change of guard at odd times and less pay.
