I am working as an Assistant Manager HR in a very esteemed company and looking after Statutory Compliances. I have completed my MBA in 2011 and have 7 years of experience in the HR domain. Now, I request guidance on what I should pursue next in my professional career to build a strong foundation in the HR domain. Your valuable suggestions will be deeply appreciated.

If you wanted to go for overall HR, it's better to have experience in all domains of HR. It can help you work as an HR Manager and above that profile. You have not explained what experience you have gained in 7 years. Working in all domains enhances your knowledge in the HR domain. It's my suggestion. Let me know if it seems helpful to you. Feel free to ask if any information is missing.

Thank you for your valuable time.

In my 7 years of experience, I have worked in all domains except IR. I have been involved in recruitment and selection, generalist profiles, administration, employee engagement, salary and wage calculations, statutory compliances, fatal and non-fatal cases, CSR activities, etc. I recently joined the Core Compliances team just a month ago. Therefore, I am seeking assistance on what else I should pursue to excel in the compliance domain for my growth and career.
