PF Claim Issue: Why Was My Settled Claim Returned and How Can I Resolve It?

I applied for an online claim on 10th Aug '18 for Rs. 30,000 as per my PF account. The claim was approved by the PF office, and I received a message stating "claim settled" on 21st Aug '18. However, on 27th Aug '18, I received an SMS indicating that the claimed amount would be credited to my bank account within three working days. Upon checking my bank statement, I realized that this amount has not been credited yet.

Yesterday, while checking my PF passbook, I discovered that the ECS/NEFT transaction was returned. I am unsure why it was returned. I kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter if possible.

Hello there,

Please update bank details in your UAN account (KYC). Sometimes NEFT transactions will be returned if there are any mistakes in the account name or number. Therefore, kindly ensure that your bank details in your PF account are updated and then reapply. Also, remember to check the claim status both now and after the application has been submitted.
