If you are PF member before joining present company and your present company is covered and registered with PF they it is compulsory for them to deduct PF from your salary. There is no such option available for company not to deduct PF.

Hi All,
I have one question, if salary is more than Rs15,000 that makes deduction of pf optional but what about esi deduction? Does the company have to comply with the esi deduction under gross salary of Rs21000 or that too is optional if company is providing other medical benefits to their employees?
Seniors request your kind feedback.
Thanks and Regards,

Dear Mr Akash,
PF Coverage is nased on the information provided in Form No 11
PF Covered Employee continues to be PF Member even after changing job, provided he has not withdrawn previous PF Accumulations. If he has withdrawn PF accumulations & joins new Establishment, he can be excluded from coverage provided his basic & DA is more than Rs15,000/- EPF is on of the beneficial Legislation enacted for the purpose of creating Retirement Fund
present ESI Coverage is Rs21,000/-PM (GROSS SALARY) Consequently, all Employees drawing Gross Salary of Rs21,000/- & below Compulsorily come under the purview of act.It is not optioal
once, they cross the wage ceiling, they become excluded Employees.Consequently, contributions need not be remitted. They have to be covered under Company medical Scheme
Glidor
handover the form 11 to employer filling all colums and mentioning the UAN, employer has no option to refuse the employee who already has an active UAN from past working establishment
