Is Aadhar card mandatorily required when opening a new PF account (online process) by the employer? Is there any way around that the employer can open a new PF account for the employee without an Aadhar card?
Aadhar number is mandatory to generate UAN number. Even when an old PF number is used to join another company, the last UAN number is provided in this case as well, Aadhar is required.
I already have UAN; however, I am told by my new employer that to open the new PF account via the online process, it is mandatory to provide Aadhar details. Is it correct?
If the old UAN is Aadhaar-seeded, even in that case, filling Form 11 and giving a copy of KYC documents is mandatory.
