Want to know whether the Payment of Wages Act, 1936 is applicable to IT companies?

On reading of Sec 2(ii) a-g - doesn't seem to be applicable. What are the notified establishments under Sec 2(ii) h?

IT and ITES establishments come under the purview of State Shops and Establishments Acts. For instance, the Government of Tamil Nadu has notified shops and establishments employing 20 or more employees as "establishments" covered by the Payment of Wages Act, 1936.

Therefore, the reader may verify whether such a notification under section 1(5) of the Payment of Wages Act, 1936 has been issued by the respective State Government.
