Issue with Relieving Letter from HBL Global Pvt Ltd
I joined HBL Global Pvt Ltd in 2007 and left my job in 2008. This was my first job as a fresher, and I was unaware of the company norms when I resigned without a notice period. My supervisor also didn't inform me about the notice period. After that, I received a letter from HBL to pay Rs. 1141 in dues, which I didn't pay as there was no reason mentioned in the letter, so I denied it.
Now, I want to join HDFC but don't have a relieving letter and am now ready to clear the dues. HR is not responding. I heard that HBL no longer exists today as it has merged, and the new entity is HDBFS. I am prepared to pay the dues and want a relieving letter to join HDFC Bank. HR is ignoring me. It is my right to have a relieving letter. What can be done in this case? I am also ready now to file a complaint against HBL.
