Can we notify a person who is qualified in Master of Social Work (Medical and Psychiatric) as Welfare Officer?

Can we notify a person who is qualified in Master of Social Work (Medical and Psychiatric) as Welfare Officer of a Factory in Tamilnadu as per the provisions of the act?

For hiring of welfare officer, please follow state rules along with Factories Act, 1948.

Dear Colleague,
Under the FA and state rules, approved qualifications are laid down.
To the best of my knowledge, the qualification of MSW with specialization in Medical and Psychiatric Social work is not approved for appointment of Welfare Officer.
However, please refer, in this regard to your state factories rules .
