Struggling with UAN Generation and Transfers Due to Aadhaar Issues in the Northeast?

My query is, previously Aadhaar was exempted in the Northeast as most of the people here don’t have Aadhaar, and the enrollment has started recently. From June onwards, we have not been able to generate any UAN for new joinees. Additionally, our company group has recently amalgamated into a single company, and all the employees are absorbed into the same company. Since both establishments have different establishment codes, the transfer of UAN is again not happening because of the Aadhaar issue. Kindly suggest necessary steps for the same.

Aadhaar is mandatory. However, you can keep your old registration number valid and designate the workers engaged here as contract workers. Without KYC with Aadhaar, no further movement can be done.
