Issue with PF Arrears and Challans

I have a security agency where I supply guards to PSUs. Sometimes, the rate of basic salary is increased with retrospective effect. In such cases, the arrears of PF are deposited in the month when the salary increase is implemented and paid out.

I paid the PF due on the arrears, and despite the fact that the ECR was filed for arrears, the EPF site has generated 7Q-14B challans for delayed payment of PF dues. How do I get this challan canceled?

In an earlier instance, I paid up in good faith and wrote to the EPF office to adjust the same against my account but have not received a reply. It has been 6 months now.
