Transfer Dilemma and Immediate Relieving
This is Sunny, working in a Pvt Ltd company for the last 2.11 years. Suddenly, the company has decided to transfer me to another location, as mentioned in my offer letter that the company can do at any time, if required.
Also, note that as per my offer letter, I have to give a 3-month notice period or 3 months' gross salary to the company if immediate relieving is required. As discussed and confirmed by the HR person, the company has no work to offer at the current location, and I have only the option to take a transfer or resign. The company wants to relieve me with immediate effect. I informed HR that I cannot take the transfer because my family needs me at home as my wife has been advised bed rest due to recent medical treatment.
I request your advice on what I can do in this situation. I am feeling mentally disturbed as I have significant financial liabilities.
