ESI for Contract Workers: Do We Need to Register Them and Make Payments?

Some contract workers are currently working in our company, and their contract is going to end in a couple of days. Do we need to generate ESI numbers for these workers? How do we make ESI payments? Do we need to register them under our company's ESI code? Please advise...

Thank you for the reply, sir. However, those workers are not on a regular basis. Tomorrow, some other workers may come for 2-3 days. In that case, do we need to make ESI payments for all of those workers? If so, when should the payment be made? We typically make ESI remittances after the employees' salaries are processed. Do we need to make the remittance along with the company employees?
