I filled out Form 10C after two months of leaving my job. Below is my scenario.
Date of Joining: Oct 1, 2013
Date of Leaving: April 16, 2018
EPS Contribution Balance (per passbook) = 59,701 (541 x 11 months + 1250 x 43 months) (one month no pension was contributed, hence 43 instead of 44).
I filled Form 10C, but the amount deposited in my account is 47,373. I need guidance regarding how this amount was calculated. Going by the pension withdrawal table, shouldn't I get 15,000 x 5.28 = 79,200, since I worked for 4.55 years, which would be rounded to a 5-year factor? If so, how do I claim the rest of the money from EPFO? Kindly advise.
