EPF Withdrawal Amount Calculation

Matt1987
I filled out form 10 C after two months of leaving job. Below is my scenario.
Date of Joining: Oct 1, 2013
Date of Leaving: April 16, 2018
EPS Contribution Balance (per passbook) = 59,701 (541 x 11 months + 1250 x 43 months) (one month no pension was contributed, hence 43 instead of 44).
I filled form 10C but the amount deposited in my account is 47,373.
I need guidance regarding how this amount was calculated? Going by pension withdrawal table, shouldn’t I get 15000 x 5.28 = 79,200, since I worked for 4.55 years which would be rounded to 5 year factor?
If so, how do I claim the rest of the money from EPFO? Kindly advise.

Please verify the data in your passbook using your UAN login account- even though your calculation my be right.

My passbook is showing pension balance of 59,701 (541 x 11 months + 1250 x 43 months) post 10c settlement as of today. However, I only received 10c settlement of 47,373 instead of calculation per above of 79,200.
1. Not sure why pension balance of 59,701 is still showing in passbook even though 47,347 is already credited to me.
2. Why is 47,347 credit to me instead of 79,200?
3. What do I need to do to raise this issue if applicable?
Please advise.

Please raise a grievance in epfigms.gov.in
You may also walk in to the EPF office and get the issue clarified.

Hi Matt,
Same situation has happened with me.
Did you received your full amount?
What was the issue in your case?
I raised concern with EPFO, they just mailed back EPS settlement report. Which does not clarify how they came to the settled amount.
Any help would be great.
Thanks,
Mohit
