No PF or other benefits - Can an employee do anything to the employer except "leave the job"?

What an employee can do if an employer who runs a school (upto class VIII) and a dance & music academy- both in single location - never pays anything extra except salary. There is not a single leave. If teachers took leave in summer holiday, there is zero payment to them. There is no extra payment even the person broken the leg while working. Even the salary deduction happens if the person not comes due to leg injury. There is no tea-coffee or even medical first aid box there. All salary paid by cash. Total salaried staff (School & Dance Academy) are 20. There is no PF or ESI/medical provided as well.

This is a place where you should not work at all. Let the school be closed and the students be asked to join some other nearby schools. I would say that we the parents are responsible for this kind of situation, because we send our children to this kind of schools ignoring the Govt.run schools. Anyway that is not our subject. The best way to get out of this and improve the working conditions is to highlight the issue in the social media. Nothing like complaining to the Labour department, PF or ESI authorities will help you because such schools will always have illegal connections with labour officers etc. Therefore, highlight the issues, let the public know what is happening there and let them take the show!
