Are Industrial Trainees Earning 2000/Month Eligible for ESIC or PF? Let's Discuss Minimum Wages Impact

I am having doubts about ESIC. As per my knowledge, except for Apprentices training, all the trainees should come under ESIC. However, when we are getting trainees from college for Industrial training who are supposed to receive 2000 per month, are they eligible for ESIC or PF? If yes, then what will be the implication for Minimum Wages?

PF & ESIC are not applicable to college trainees. You need to have all the relevant documents as proof (request letter from the college, employee request to work in your industry, etc.) to show to inspectors.
